WELCOME

Would you like to ride a unicorn, jump over the moon or travel through time?  Who wouldn't?  But maybe..... You'd settle for things like speaking another language, growing a better garden, cooking a new cuisine, or wrestling a computer program into submission. Lady Riding Unicorn

That's where the Salt Spring Society for Community Education can help. We offer a great mix of courses - brand new, tried and true, personal and professional.  Our goal is to improve the quality of life for all members of our community.

We'll help you learn something new.  One course at a time.  There are no tests, and there is no stress in our non-credit classes.  And we'd be crazy to rule out unicorns.

We are a non-profit charitable society committed to providing community education programs for the residents of Salt Spring.  We assess the interests and needs of the community and develop an array of leisure and educational courses, lecture series, skills upgrading and learning opportunities for the community.
